He was predeceased by: his father Danny O'Neil Sr.; his brother Michael O'Neil; his grandparents, Ruby Jean Shaw and Arda Avalos; his aunt Arvella Searle; and his nephew Jake Edward Ekker.

He is survived by: his mother Julie Ann Meacham O'Neil of Delta; his former spouse Dusti Murdoch August; his children, Jordanay O'Neil of Venice, Landyn O'Neil of Circleville, Ava O'Neil of Circleville and Canyon O'Neil of Circleville; his granddaughters, Paislee Bell of Venice and Huntlee Kay of Venice; and his siblings, Melissa Ann Ekker of Delta, Jaimie Vega of Delta, Andrew of Delta, Tabby O'Neil of Delta and Angela Lynn Macias of Delta.
