He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clair Pilling and Cleo Wahlburger Pilling; his sisters, Reva and Kathy; his close friend Laura Lee; his children, Don (Heidi) and Dixie (Gene Henrie); and his wife Laura Lee Nielson Pilling. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
