She was predeceased by: her parents, Fawson P. Cooke and Edith Vera Stokes Cooke. She is survived by: her former husband Arlen B. Horne; her pet Flash; her grandson Kyle Anderson; her children, Cindy Iverson (Keven), Scott Horne (Sally) and Jackie Horne Anderson; and her brother Mikel Cooke. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
