He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Leroy Strickland Sr. and Elise Jean Hewitt Strickland; his wife Marva May Baker; and his sisters, Louise Ford, Doris Ford, Mary Elizabeth Strickland and Martha Jean Johnson.
He is survived by: his former wife Darleen Olive Talbot; his sons, Kirk E, Brent L and Rodney J (James B. Lebo); and his stepchildren, Steven W Hofine (Rosie), Mark R. (Bob), Talbot (Debbie), Terrie E. Seitz (Timothy), Leann V. Garrett and Jolene E. Warren (Scott). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
