He was predeceased by: his daughter Andrea Wilkins; and his sister Cynthia Wilkins. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Wilkins, Brittany Baird and Jonathan Wilkins; and his brothers, Robert, Michael and Tom. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
