He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorant Owens and Cleo Owens; and his sister Joan Wallingford-Lamb. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Alder (Logan Temple); and his children, Mark (Yvonne), Cathy, Richard (Nanette), Lynnette, Gail (Mike), Steve (Hongyen), Connie (Wayne), Dawn (Tyson) and Kimberly.
