It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lily Lanius Caudill of Clearfield, Utah, born in Brigham City, Utah, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Benton Lanius and Lily Rosella Francis; her siblings, Bernice Francis, Lemuel Thomas, Alfred Benton Jr. Erven Francis and Rozella (Rose); her grandparents, Lemual Francis Dreston and Matilda Madelene Pehrson; her spouse Lafe Richard Caudill; and her children, Karen Jean Warren (Ray) of Longmont Colorado, Shawna Kay Wiberg (Delos) of Roy Utah and Steven Richard Caudill (Sharon). She was also cherished by ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
In 2020 during the middle of the Covid pandemic Lily returned to Utah to reside at Chancellor Garden Assisted Living in Clearfield where she was known as "The Walker" because she walked every day.
