She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey W. Higgs and Virginia Hendry Higgs; her siblings, Danny Higgs and Lois Holmes Miller; and her husband William Venstra.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Venstra and Julie Funke; her grandchildren, Coty Funke (Chelsee) and Hailee Funke (Garrett Gardner); her great grandchildren, Skyelee Funke and Jacob Funke; and her brother Rusty Higgs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
