He was predeceased by: his brother Morris; his brother-in-law Mac McDonald; and his grandson Adam Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Edwards; his daughters, Debra Anderson (Darrell), Karen Anderson (Don) and DeAnna Morgan (Troy); and his sisters-in-law, Helen Simpson and Peggie McDonald. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
