He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Howard Alvey and Scytha Solena Barney; his brothers, Wayne, Chuck Alvey (Sharon) and Barney Alvey Alvey (Kay); and his daughter Jill Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his siblings, Leva Brierly Alvey (Karla), Gay Hill (Ivan), Vaughn Alvey (Linda) and Michael Alvey (Lexanne); and his children, Jim Alvey (Sue), Jeff Alvey (Gabrielle), JoLynn O'very (Bruce), Jeralyn Birrell (John) and Jennifer Johnson (Chris). He is also survived by 25 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren.
