She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Nelson and Florence Elizabeth Durrant Abbott; her stepmother Mazie Sheppard Shell Abbott; her brothers, Paul Abbott, Orland Abbott, Gary Abbott and Kenneth Abbott; her daughter-in-law Katie Dixon Thompson; and her grandson Jonathan Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Merrill Franklin Thompson; her children, Robert Thompson, Alisa Littlefield (Jed), Lanae Thompson, Tammy Thompson and Richard Thompson (Diana); her grandchildren, Christopher Thompson, Mary McFadden (Jake), Kamilla Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Anna Thompson, Sarah Thompson, James Littlefield, Alexis Littlefield, Avalon Littlefield, Jacob Littlefield, Max Thompson, Lincoln Thompson, Bobbi Thompson, Parker Thompson and Rilla Thompson; and her brothers, Ronald Abbott (Sue) and Tom Abbott (Dianne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
