With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Sue Saunders (Hannon) Schultz (Clearfield, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 52. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carolyn Sue Saunders may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Deann Sargent; her brother John Colton Saunders; and her former husband Kevin Hannon. She is survived by: her husband Don Schultz; her children, Jacob Hannon and Harley Hannon; her granddaughter Acacia Hannon; her sister Tami Rapp (James); her father Gary Vance Saunders Sr.; and her brother Gary Saunders Jr. (Minnie). She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, along with many friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aarons Mortuary (1050 State St, Clearfield, UT 84015). A burial was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Memorial Park (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041).
