He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Brown and LaRue Brown; his brother Gary Brown; and his son Russell. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Carl Jr. (Lori), Matthew, Lisa (Clint) and Johanna (Kike); and his siblings, Glen (Lenore), Neil (Marty), Mark, Alan (Darcy), Carolyn, Maxine (Dennis), Verdeen (Craig) and Koreen (Paul). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
