He was predeceased by: his parents, Edumenio Herrera and Frances Gutierrez Herrera; his sisters, Anna Whitlock and Josie Nelms; and his siblings-in-law, Bambi Herrera and Allen Nelms.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Herrera; his children, Artie Herrera, Jr., Anthony Herrera (Jessica), DJ Herrera and Trish Trujillo-Poe (Nick); and his siblings, Joseph Herrera, Eddie Herrera, Richard Whitlock, Marie Neri (Mike) and Sally Aguilar (Jimmy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
