He was predeceased by: his parents, Seymour Thompson and Mary Olive Peterson; his former spouses, Keith Thompson (Charlene), Jenna McKinney (Bill) and Elaine Greathouse; and also Tad Butterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Roma; his children, Paula Rowley (Kurt) of Syracuse, Utah, Lori Butterfield of Sandy, Utah, Craig Thompson (Kammy) of North Logan, Utah and Brian Thompson (Erin) of Smithfield; and his sisters, Marilynn Brown and Kathy Behling. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
