He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Melissa Howell (Bryan), Rebecca Allen (Eric), Angela Merrill (Christopher), Jonathan Day (Misty), Aaron Day (Jaime) and Amanda Quigley (Jesse); his daughter-in-law Joleen Day; his sister Carol Pratt; and his niece Wendy McIntyre. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.

“I have known Tom Day for a number of years as a very intelligent, wonderfully kind man of faith and great friend and neighbor. I also knew him through the VA Medical Center. I worked with him in the MOVE! Weight Management program and he was a Star. Despite significant physical disability, he followed the program, including exercising faithfully, and achieved remarkable health improvements. He was featured in a video inspiring other Veterans. Love to the family, Joan Heusser”
