He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Monson and Elese Monson; his wife Judy Haldeen Gunnell; his children, Sydney Mellen (Joe), Heidi Hansen, Dean (Amber), Marie Lemmon (Eric) and Quin (Dani); and his siblings, Ann Hardy, Gayle Hale and Tracy. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren.
