He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Simpson and Harold Carmack; and his siblings, Don (Beverlee), Kathleen (John) and Neil (Karen).
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Carmack (Rob Kopecky) and Laurie Chamberlain (Brad); his grandchildren, Zach and Sarah; his sister-in-law Arlea Carmack; and also Nancy Ostermiller. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Brent's name to the Utah Food Bank or Disabled American Veterans.
