He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Erwin and Margaret Locher Hassard; his wife Helen Sherryl Swain Hassard; and his brother Larry Hassard. He is survived by: his children, Sherlyn Tambasco (Chris), Jason Hassard (Mialah), Mindy Hassard, Rebekah Pepenella (Alex) and Rachel Shepherd (Ben). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
