She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Marshall Brough and Utahna Clayton Peterson; and her sister Madeline. She is survived by: her husband Bryce Cecil Nelson; her brother-in-law Bryce; her nieces and nephews, David Nelson of Lehi, Shannon Martin (Jared) of Queen Creek, Matthew Nelson (Rebekah) of Pleasant Grove and Daniel Nelson of American Fork; and also John Brough. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
