With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Val Peterson of Cedar City, Utah, born in Woods Cross, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2024 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Neils Archie and Leah Howard Peterson; his wife Judy Ann Argyle; and his siblings, Larry and Joy Peterson.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Meyer (Dan) of Fort Collins, CO, Curtis Val Peterson (Laurel) of St. George, UT, Kelly C Peterson (Teresa) of Washington, UT, Craig Argyle Peterson of Cedar City, UT and Cori Ann Hyatt (Darren) of Cedar City, UT.. He is also survived by one sister, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
