He is survived by: his wife Janet; his child Mitch Alger (Penny) of Paula Alger; his grandchildren, Alexis Pena (Aaron), Brooks Alger (Heidi) and Madison Alger; his great grandchildren, Olivia Pena and Piper Pena; his sister Myrna Rasmussen; and his sisters-in-law, Andy Alger and Paula Boss (Paul). He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Perpetual Education Fund for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
