Anthony Sparto wrote a sympathy message

“Rick was always so good to me. I was always at his home (as I was his daughters boyfriend). He never made me feel unwanted or uncomfortable, infact I was always invited to dinners and family vacations. The best one was the trip to lake Powell on the house boat. He loved to have fun and laughed often. I remember getting nervous flying in his plane and he would say don't worry I'm a Dr. As I left for my mission he gave me 500 dollars and said he was proud of me. Forever in my heart. Tony”
