She was predeceased by: her husband Max Jay Payne; and her siblings, Quinn Jones, Zanola Bullock, York Jones and Larry Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jerrilyn Banks (Carl), Jan Hicken (Steven), Donald Jay Payne (Ellen) and David Max Payne (Jeanne); her sister Laurena Jones Adams; and her sister-in-law Ann Jones Cherrington. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
