It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaMar Briggs in Cedar City, Utah, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert Briggs and Lavina Ann Hoopes; his son Kevin Briggs; his son-in-law Robert F. Simpson; and his great grandchild Chandler Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl LaRue Rigby; his children, Debbie (John), Craig (Julee), Gaylen (Sherie) and Rodney (Micki); his daughter-in-law Leyla (Doug); and his sisters, Ila May Miller and Lois Atkin. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
