She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Gillespie and Olive Gillespie; her siblings, Roger Gillespie (Janie) and Valdis Roth; and her brothers-in-law, Fred Krause and George Roth.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Passey Mortensen; her children, Mel, Mark (Terri), Marie and Sam (Stacy); and her siblings, Joan Gourdin, Danny Gillespie (Dayna) and Kaye Krause. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
