He is survived by: his parents, William Lapworth and Thelma Smith Melling; his significant other Sally Wayne Jackson; his wife Eternal Companion Sally; his sisters, Marie Neptune and Roma Knight; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Hansen, Deon Robb, Grace Melling and Naomi Melling. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 16 ½ great grandchildren.
