He was predeceased by: his father Volma W Heaton; and his brothers, Jerris V. Heaton and Joel Chryst Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Denise Lopez Heaton; his children, Matthew Luis Heaton (Kara), Jordan Michael Heaton (Cindy), Camille Heaton Peterson and Aaron Glen Heaton; his mother Ellen Mae Gray; and his siblings, Jonathan Gregory Heaton (Connie), Kristin Heaton, David Von Heaton (Brynne), Mark Shane Heaton (Shannon), Janette Heaton Fleming (Sam), Janeal Bly, Amy Kae Heaton (Danielle) and Tera Marie Nye (Tom). He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
