He is survived by: his nieces, Belinda Rowley (Reed) and Cindy Berry Haynie; his nephew John Berry; and his brother-in-law Jay Peck.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kanarraville Town Hall (40 S Main St, Cedar City, UT 84742). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

“This is a profound loss. Scott was like a brother to me for 59 yrs. We met in college & were instant friends. Mama Berry was a mom to us all. Scott was fun to team rope with! He was a good saddle repairman who helped kids. From age 9 our son spent a week ea. summer with Uncle Scott. He learned how to drive a pickup a tractor and be a good horseman & hunter. Scott was a good man who’d help anybody before doing anything for himself. He’ll be greatly missed. Much love, Larry & Phyllis Owen”
