He was predeceased by: his parents, Beth Penrod Davis and Elbert Howell Davis; and his siblings, Renae, Brent and Gerald.

He is survived by: his former wife Connie Huntsman; his children, Derick Davis, Monroe, Shan Davis (Min), Robert Davis, Quinn Davis (Natalie), Central Valley and Mindy Taylor (Tyler); and his siblings, Jan Davis and Gary Davis. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
