He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hayes of Roosevelt, Utah; his children, Gordon Hayes (Jessica) of West Jordan, Utah and Katie Caldwell (Robert) of Bluebell, Utah; and his sisters, Diana Wilcox (Allen) of Bountiful and Jolene Carter (Jack) of Morgan, Utah.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
