He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Andrew Nelson and Gladys Braithwaite; and his siblings, LaRue, Dora Dean, Glenna, Bryant Glade and Joseph (Earl).
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Gonzalez (Rafael) of Riverton and Joseph Nelson (Maxine) of Sturgis, Michigan; and his siblings-in-law, Glenna Kofford (Gary), Becky Nelson, Colleen Nelson, Marva Peterson, Jay DeFriez (Ann) and Roger DeFriez (Diana). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 bonus great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Huntsman Cancer Institute, American Red Cross, or Latter-day Saint Charities.
