He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Mae Douglas and Robert Harvey Howard; his son-in-law Dennis Benson; his granddaughter Elizabeth Barrington; his brother Pete Howard; his sister-in-law Darlene Howard; his siblings, Bob Whimpey and Dovelene Basso (Fred); and his great grandchild Aleeyah Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Howard (Carbonville); his children, Caroline Barrington (Tom), Robin Benson, Tina Price (Bob), Robert "Tuffy" Howard (Les) and Harvey Howard; his brother-in-law Wayne Whimpey (Trixie) of Kirkland, NM; and his half-brother Doug Carter (Karlene). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
