He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Oyler Thompson and Nola Steed Thompson; and his sister Susan Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Ipo" Thompson; his children, Kenny (Jen), Sherri (Josh), Jacob (Kristin), Tressie, Rylie (Valerie), Nesha (Kenny), Bradley, Carolyn, Simone, Mesina (Kevin) and Joshua; and his siblings, Laura, Annette, David (Nancy), Kevin (Charlotte), Jim and Corey (Stacy).
