He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Nelson and Laura Belle Bailey Nelson; his grandson Brendan Hall; his brother Charles Nelson; his siblings-in-law, Kate Nelson and Jerry Lassen; and his nephews, Larry Sloan, Jason Nelson and Travis Nelson.
He is survived by: his spouse Willetta Mae Reed; and his sisters, Sheila Lassen and Colleen Sloan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perry Stake Center (685 W 2250 S, Perry, UT 84302). Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1695, in care of Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah 84302.
