He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith D Grimes and Nyna Mae Kelly; and his brother Marcus. He is survived by: his wife Mary J Grimes; his children, Michael, Stacey Murray (Michael), Justin (Vanessa) and James (Jamie Jo); and his brother Richard Nourie. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Michael Keith Grimes died peacefully on June 14, 2023 surrounded by his wife and children after a valiant fight against covid and pneumonia.
