It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Schaffner (Brigham City, Utah), born in Medicine Bow, Wyoming, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hank Schaffner; her sons, Tom and Wes; and her siblings, Cliff Kizzire, Chester Kizzire, Carroll Kizzire, Charlene Wilson and Betty Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Schaffner Alcatraz and James Henry Schaffner (Lorene); her daughter-in-law Jackie Bell Schaffner; her grandchildren, Ronald Howard Alcatraz (Katharine), Michael David Alcatraz (Natalie), Christina Louise Alcatraz, Claire Schaffner Long (Jarvis) and Wesley Schaffner; and her sister-in-law Peggy Kizzire. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
