She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lester and Olivia Forsgren Andersen; her husband John Ellis Carter; her son-in-law Roger Fadel; and her siblings, Oleen, Lee Roy, Grant, Jneil Madsen and Neone Stenquist.
She is survived by: her children, John Michael Carter, Jenice Elaine McArthur (Ron), Reese A Carter (Eva Jean), Kayleen Fadel, Tamra Rawlings (David), Scott Ellis Carter, Douglas Wayne Carter (Pam) and JoAnne Cook (LaMont). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 99 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and two great-great-grandchildren.
