With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Faye Nielson Hooper Long (Brigham City, Utah), born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Magnus Nielson and Lila Forman Nielson; her husband Roy Sumner Hooper, Jr.; and her siblings, Neal, Marilyn, Elaine, Robert and Judy.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Nielson of Yankton, SD; and her children, Bill Hooper (Sharon Roper), Bob Hooper (Liz Bonderson) and Mary Pat McCurdie (Mike McCurdie). She is also survived by four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (750 N 100 E, Brigham City, UT 84302). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Brigham City Cemetery (495 E 500 S, Brigham City, UT 84302).
