With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Yamasaki (Brigham City, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 103. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bunemon Tanaka and Isono Tanaka (Inouye); her husband Yosh; her sons, Lindy and Sid; her grandchildren, Brent Yamasaki and Dayna Stark; and her great grandchild Nathan Yamasaki.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Yamasaki (Sandra) and Bonnie Shires (Larry); her grandchildren, Deny Yamasaki (Lyra), Greg Yamasaki, Brad Yamasaki (Monica), Becky Yamasaki (Stephen Roberts), Alisha Barber (Jeremy), Crystal Yamasaki (Matt Olsen), Shauni Hiland (Dave) and Sheree Pollard; her sisters, Sadie Yoshimura and Leona Kaneko; and her caregiver Savana. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
