She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clayton and Goldie Mae Smith Heskett of McCook, NE; and her husband Ira. She is survived by: her children, Victor Ransom (Suebee), Stephen Ransom (Rhonda), Miriam Lofquist (Les) and Connie Viekman (Dick); and her brother-in-law Jack Ransom (Wanda). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
