It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Anne Backman (Brigham City, Utah), born in Monte Vista, Colorado, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cornish and Naomi Cornish; and her brother Kurtis Cornish. She is survived by: her friend Anne; her husband Vernon Backman; her children, Cyndie Lopez (Sam), Drake Backman (Kris), Keith Backman (Valerie) and Garth Backman (Becky); and her siblings, Linda Ashton, C. Douglas Cornish, J. Devn Cornish and Gail Richardson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Primary Children's Medical Center.
