She was predeceased by: her parents, Maydean Marjorie Paul Nelson and Darven Nelson; and her siblings, Ginny Taylor, Paula Herbert (Kurt), Pat Landon (Steven), Karen Tincher (Kelly) and Carl Nelson (Gayle).

She is survived by: her husband David Bissegger; her daughter Terri Mann (John); and her granddaughters, Heather McNair (Miles), Shelby Asay (Radford) and Justine Shaffer (Skyler). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
