It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Steven Wood (Bountiful, Utah), who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Samuel Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Samuel Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Wood and Alphia Rigby. He is survived by: his children, Cherylin Winkel (Bryan), Steven Wood (Janeen) and Vicky Manning (Ryan); and his sister Sherrell Preston. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Val Verda Stake Center (2651 S 500 W, Bountiful, UT 84010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
