He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Hawkins and Sarah Ann Hawkins; his former wife Barbara Karen; his wife Berlinda (Barbara); and his brothers, Clyde, Billy and Allen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Deann (late Leon), Eunice (Ed) and Erva (Reed); and his children, Linda, Larry (Barbie), Janet and Mike (Cindy). He is also survived by 16 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
After 50 years of marriage, Berlinda died of Alzheimer's disease.
