He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Elmer and Charlota Eliza Petersen Thomas; and his siblings, Bernice Towles, Margaret Lester, Fern Pixton, LaRae Naylor and John Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Haacke (Blaine), Michael (Jennifer), Mark (Steffani), Virginia, Alicyn and Angela; and his brother Richard Kim (Gloria). He is also survived by grandchildren.
