It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Gillette Place (Bountiful, Utah), born in Tooele, Utah, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lindberg Gillette and Zelpha Jones Gillette; her siblings, David, Larry (Mary) and JoAnn (Mac); and her son-in-law Paul Woods Rudd.

She is survived by: her close friend Mike; her children, Jeffrey M. Place (Angela), Kimberly Rudd DeSilva (Rick), Stephanie Mercer (Loren), Kristy Powell (Ben) and Heather Morgan (Mike); and her sisters-in-law, Star Place and Doris Gillette. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kathy's honor to CurePSP (http://www.psp.org) to help find a cure for this devastating disease.
