He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Butterfield Call; his children, Camille Whiting (James), Christopher Call (Brittany), Curtis Call (Lindsay), Chadwick Call (Chalice) and Casey Call (Becca); his siblings, Vaughn (Kathy), Diane (John), David (Claire), Randy (Juli), Sylvia (Chris), Laura (Dave), Mark (Julie), Debbie and Kevin (Carrie); and his caregiver Joe.
In recognition of his years of service and his many accomplishments and contributions to scouting, Joe received the District Award of Merit, and also was nominated for and received the Silver Beaver Award.
