He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl H. J. Volmar and Hedwig Reinhardt Volmar. He is survived by: his wife Dawn McAllister; his children, Suzanne Riches Kern (Ralph Kern), Bradley (Jeri), Carolyn (Doug Nielsen), Scott (Lori) and Paulette (Dan Cary); and his sisters, Esther Brown and Joyce Hill. He is also survived by his children, thirteen grandchildren and great grandchildren.
