He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Averill and Bernice Averill (Thomas). He is survived by: his brothers, Raymond (Nancy) and Charles Averill (Elaine); his partner Brett A. Handy; his pet Spartacus; his partner's daughter Faith; and also, Todd Waite, Colleen Schumacher, Janeen Lish, David Waite, Kalani Reed and Jennifer Burstedt. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew, two great nieces and two great nephews.
